WHAT TO DO?!

It’s truly an honour to help you commemorate your journey—thank you for trusting me with your keepsake!

You're probably wondering: "How do I send my breastmilk or other inclusions?"
Good news—there are a few easy options!

✨ How Much Breastmilk to Send

Please send 15 ml (½ oz) of milk.

It can be fresh or frozen, but must be fully thawed before mailing so you can measure accurately. This small amount is all I need to create your piece—and usually enough for future additions too!

Do not mail more than 15 ml of milk UNLESS OTHERWISE DISCUSSED. If you mail more than 15 ml, your inclusions may not make their way to me.

📦 Packaging Instructions

To keep your milk safe during transit, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Pour your milk into a sterile breastmilk storage bag (avoid touching the inside).

2. Seal the bag tightly and place it into a second sterile breastmilk bag. Seal it again.

3. You may place the double-bagged milk into a Ziploc for extra protection - this step is not required, but can be done for added reassurance.

4. Put the sealed bags into a bubble mailer only.

Do not use paper envelopes—they tear, leak, and damage the milk. If you send one, I’ll ask you to resend it properly.

🔖 Required Labeling

Use a Sharpie to clearly label the outer bag with:

1) Your full name

2) Your order number

3) A phone number (textable) or email in case I need to contact you

🇨🇦 Mailing Options (Within Canada Only)

Option A: I Know My Ring Size

You can purchase a prepaid mailer under the MISC category on my website. It includes everything you need to send your inclusion safely.
(This option is priced to cover materials and postage only.)

Option B: I Don’t Know My Ring Size

Order a prepaid mailer + ring sizer under MISC.
If you return the ring sizer, I’ll include a free heart or tear shaped pendant with your order as a thank-you!

Option C: Mailing It Yourself

If you're mailing your inclusion independently, postage within Canada is typically about $2.11 (one oversized stamp) for untracked mail.

Just be sure to:

1) Use a bubble mailer

2) Follow the packaging instructions above

Important Tip:
It’s generally frowned upon to mail breastmilk. If a postal worker asks what’s in your envelope, simply say:
"Jewelry Making Supplies"

🌍 International Orders (OUTSIDE OF CANADA - Including USA)

International customers must send inclusions using your own supplies—my Canadian prepaid mailers won’t work across the border.

Your finished piece will be returned via tracked shipping at cost. Please select International Shipping at checkout.

📦 Important Declaration Guidelines:

1) Use a bubble mailer (no paper envelopes)

2) Declare the contents as “Jewelry Making Supplies”

3) Declare the value of your milk as $2 CAD

If I am charged customs or import fees due to incorrect labeling, your package will be returned to you.
